Description of plant: A tree that grows to a height of 10 m, native to tropical Asia, with glossy leaves and large yellow fruits
Nature of oil: Pale yellow or greenish with a fresh, sweet citrus aroma; uplifting and antidepressant
Method of oil extraction: Cold expression of the fresh peel of the fruit
Blends well with: Other citrus essential oils, cardamon, coriander, cypress, juniper, lavender, neroli, petitgrain, pine, geranium, rosemary
Specific precautions required: May be phototoxic. Once it starts to degrade can cause skin irritation and sensitization
