Description of plant: A small evergreen tree, native to tropical Asia, growing to a height of 4.5 m. It produces small, pear-shaped yellow fruit
Nature of oil: Pale green, with a citrus aroma and a hint of spice; uplifting and refreshing
Method of oil extraction: Cold expression of the rind of the fruit
Blends well with: Other citrus essential oils, basil, cedarwood, chamomile German and Roma, clary sage, lavender, neroli, cypress, elemi, geranium, jasmine, juniper, coriander, ginger, frankincense, oakmoss, rose, sandalwood, vetiver
Specific precautions required: Phototoxic
